Deposit: A deposit may be required at the time of booking.

Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Full payment is required prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed.

3. Usage of Skip

When using our skip hire services, you agree to:

Use the skip for its intended purpose only.
Not overload the skip beyond the specified weight limit.
Ensure that all hazardous materials are removed before loading the skip.
Provide a safe and accessible location for skip placement.

Prohibited Uses: The skip must not be used to store items for an extended period beyond the agreed rental period.

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in our skips:

Chemicals and Hazardous Waste: Including but not limited to paints, solvents, pesticides, and batteries.
Asbestos and Other Banned Materials: Any material containing asbestos or other banned substances.
Electrical Appliances: Large electrical appliances must be disposed of through appropriate recycling channels.
Medical Waste: Including pharmaceuticals and sharps.

Failure to comply may result in additional charges or legal action.

5. Delivery and Collection

Delivery: We will deliver the skip to the specified location at the agreed-upon time. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient space and access for delivery.

Placement: Our drivers are not responsible for any damage to property caused by the placement of the skip.
Access: The customer must ensure that the delivery area is free from obstacles.

Collection: At the end of the rental period, we will collect the skip. Please ensure that all waste has been removed to avoid additional charges.

6. Liability

Skip Hire Barnet strives to provide reliable services, but we are not liable for:

Damage to property caused by the placement or use of the skip.
Loss or theft of items in or around the skip.
Injuries or accidents resulting from the use of the skip.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the area is safe and that the skip is used appropriately.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your skip hire booking under the following conditions:

Cancellation Deadline: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the rental cost.
Non-refundable Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

8. Insurance

While we take great care in handling our skips, Skip Hire Barnet does not provide insurance for the contents placed within the skip. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their items are appropriately insured.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By using our services, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
